James City County Homes

When looking for a home in Williamsburg, visitors are often confused as to where some of the homes actually are located. All Williamsburg Homes are not located in the City of Williamsburg. James City County is host to the majority of homes that are located in Williamsburg. Further adding to the confusion, most of the James City County homes have a Williamsburg address, but these homes are not part of the City of Williamsburg. About 70% of the residents who live in Williamsburg, live in James City County. Its current population is 65,000 and the James City County Real Estate sits on 144 square miles.  It is bordered to the South by the James River and to the West by the Chickahominy River.
